For 23 years UT Today has been the only television news magazine produced by students at the University of Tennessee. UT Today student reporters, producers, editors and staff are the future of television broadcasting in the United States, and around the world. Stories broadcast on UT Today connect university academics, athletics, and student life to the Knoxville community.
Our weekly, 30-minute program can be seen at 11:30 a.m. on Sundays and 9:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning March 5th and March 6th on WBIR-TV Channel 10 in Knoxville.
Our news magazine show airs on WBIR in Knoxville on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. beginning March 5, 2016.
This season, UT Today TV is compromised of thirteen hardworking and dedicated upper-level journalism students. These students produce the show completely by themselves– all the way from getting the right interviews to filming the show in-studio.
